That time of year when Mother’s Day rolls around again, and you just don’t know what to do?
We love our dear old mum.
And we think she deserves something extra special this weekend, to celebrate everything she does for us.
And we think that you should do something special for your mum too. Forget flowers and chocolates, that’s so predictable. We’ve created an extra special Cocktail of the Moment that is available now until close on Sunday 11th March – Mothering Sunday. Why give her flowers from the garage when you can bring her to Manhattan34 and actually spend some time with her? If you’re more of a no-strings-attached child, then why not treat her to some Manhattan34 gift vouchers, so she can take herself out with her mates?
The Strawberries and Gin for Mum is a deliciously fresh and fruity treat. It’s made with Eden Mill Love gin, because as we’ve pointed out, we love our mum. This is shaken with fresh strawberry puree, Koko Kanu rum – a Jamaican rum which has a delicate hint of coconut – and cranberry juice. It’s vibrant, a bit unusual and full of personality, so it’s the perfect way of showing that you care.
Eden Mill gin is very special. It’s a light blush gin which mixes a variety of botanicals with tropical fruits. Shaken with the fruit puree and juice, it also unleashes light sweet vanilla and floral notes. This makes the cocktail complex and full of layers of flavour that gradually unfold as you drink it.
